19 weeks

Wow, longest 19 weeks, EVER! ha! Right now I am sitting in a Super 8 in Clinton, Iowa (Shaun is working here for the next several months). Watching A Baby Story and drawing. Liam (or Hilary) is moving around constantly :).

Bethie took this picture about 5-6 weeks ago(I think) in the ER. Eww, I am so glad this is the only picture of me from the past 3 months (I think). I do not want to remember this. ugh. But, no more hospital for me :) I went home and had a really good couple of days before I started to get bad again. When I went to see my doctor about a month ago he was shocked when I told him I was eating only Jello and crackers, and drinking water.(I was pretty proud of this, but I guess I need a little more nutrition). He also freaked out when he saw I had lost almost 20 pounds, and still loosing. So...they sent me home with a home-care nurse to be on IV therapy for 8 hours a day. Shaun also left for Iowa around this time, and the Callahan's moved in to help out (Thank you Kor, you are awesome!) I stayed on the IVs until Thanksgiving day, which wasn't easy. My home nurse had a really hard time finding veins, thank God for medic Uncle Robbie!! I LOVE YOU!! He was SO much better and faster at getting the IV started. Anyway, I had my first actual meal on Thanksgiving. Since August. I. WAS. HUNGRY! I have no idea how many plates I had, but I kept them all down!!!!

So, I am feeling pretty close to normal now. It doesn't take much to make me spew, though! I am okay with it because I can eat! and drink! and have conversations! and stand! and walk! and even DRIVE!!!! The baby loves the food, I think he (or she) does a little dance after every "successful" meal. I love it!!!

So now I have things to do. TONS of pictures to take, drawings to draw, lots to clean, walls to paint, things to move, things to buy, a room to decorate. I am ready to start enjoying this pregnancy. We get to find out the babies sex on the 15th!
